師傅遵從古法，每片太陽餅皆以手工製作，將純麥芽糖細火慢熬，反覆的工法將麥芽餡熬的又甜又香，質軟而不黏牙才能將麥芽餡做的透心軟，並保留最原始的麥芽香。

紅櫻花更改良了以往傳統的太陽餅餅皮未吃先碎的缺點，用手工桿出層層酥薄的餅皮，酥而不碎，裹著濃而不膩的麥芽餡，是歷久不變的美味。
