• Iron Baby Cookie contains ferrous glycinate (Ferrochel) which is high in divalent iron ions.
• Ferrochel glycinate refers to the structure composed of glycine and ferrous iron. It is formed by the chelation bond of two glycines and a ferrous ion. The patented technology produces small and stable molecules. The two glycines are like bodyguards, protecting the ferrous ions. Due to the protection, the ferrous ions will not be dissociated in the stomach, and can pass through the digestive tract safely into the bloodstream. After sending the ferrous ions safely ito the bloodstream, it will leave so the ferrous ions can combine with the protein to synthesize heme. Because of its small molecule and protection of glycine, Ferrochel’s absorption and utilization rate is 4.5 times higher than that of general iron (ferrous sulfate).
